LAWRENCE — White woman Michelle Mitchell from New Hampshire assaulted Mayor Willam Lantigua outside a campaign event at Broadway liquor store on Saturday night, affected by bad propaganda and accusations of corruption propagated by media like Eagle Tribune, Boston Globe and other media used by political opposition group.
Witness said this woman came to the event ask Lantigua's supporters for him and then approached him hitting him on the face.
The woman, Michelle Mitchell, who is 49, of Derry, according the police report Michel say to the investigator “I didn’t hit him”
Sources said Mayor Lantigua could be kill by this crazy woman driven by political propaganda or maybe she was sent on purposely to caused some damage to the Lantigua's campaign.

On delinquent Anthonio Arevalo after failing a campaign for Recall against the Mayor Lantigua poured rock salt in the gas tank of his car.
Mayor William Lantigua found his SUV trashed after leaving the car in a parking lot overnight. When Mayor Lantigua tried to start the car, he heard something, turned it off, and found someone had poured rock salt in the gas tank and stuffed lottery tickets in the tailpipe.
Lantigua pointed police to security tapes from the area that showed a familiar face; a political enemy who once tried unsuccessfully to get a restraining order against the mayor.
Police discovered 46-year-old Antonio Arevalo who live East Boston was the man who vandalize the mayor's car.
The mayor estimates damage about $25,000. Arevalo then, was summoned and charged of malicious damage.
