DERRY NH WOMAN WHO ASSAULTED AND THREATENED LANTIGUA IS FOUND DEAD BY METHUEN POLICE

METHUEN —  Methuen police found  dead  in a Methuen home on Tuesday the woman who was charged of assault Lawrence Mayor William Lantigua.

Authorities believe that  death does not appear to be suspicious, but they will wait for toxicology tests and an autopsy to know the real cause of her dead  "It does not appear to be suspicious.”

Mitchell was found dead at 19 Lowell St., according Methuen police. Rumors of  her dead run in the city on  Thursday  afternoon, but  information had not been  released at that time.

There is no information yet, about  who own the property where Mitchell was found.

Mitchell was charged with assaulting Lantigua outside Broadway Liquors in Lawrence for assaulting  Lantigua in  bumper sticker event.

Mayor Lantigua has been out the state for several days due his father death.
